Call for abstracts for the Katherine Miles Innovation Award – deadline for submission 5pm Monday 28 April 2025.
It’s time to start preparing your work for submission to the Katherine Miles Innovation Award, to be part of the APTUK 2025 professional conference programme. This is the perfect opportunity to share best practice, recognise achievement and celebrate innovative pharmacy technician roles contributing to excellent patient centred care.
As part of the 'Advancing Practice' conference theme, you can now submit your paper to be considered as either a poster presentation, or new for 2025, a 10-minute short oral presentation on the main programme in our dedicated short paper session.
Members and non-members of APTUK can apply by submitting a max. 250-word abstract. The abstract should be a complete but concise description of your work. It should showcase what is contained within the poster or oral presentation.
Abstracts should be submitted under one of the following categories which represent the 4 pillars of pharmacy practice.
The deadline for submission is 5pm on Monday 28 April 2025.
The Katherine Miles Innovation Award
The Katherine Miles Innovation Award helps to support creative thinking. Entrants use posters or short presentations to illustrate latest research and generation of new and valuable ideas. The awards will be made to entrants who best showcase their projects, research or achievements.
Please note, if your abstract is accepted for poster or oral presentation, at least one author MUST register and pay to attend the conference to present their work. All presentations will be considered for The Katherine Miles Innovation Award.
