Terms and conditions 1. Profile Productions have been appointed as conference organisers by the Association of Breast Surgery for their ABS Conference 2026. 2. Profile Productions will process the registrations and refunds on behalf of the Association of Breast Surgery, but all delegate fees and refunds will be processed via the ABS’ nominated bank account. Registration fees are exempt from VAT at the prevailing rate, except commercial delegate rates and commercial dinner tickets which is charged additional VAT at 20%. 3. Changes to any aspect the conference (including speakers) may be necessary due to events outside the control of the Association of Breast Surgery and Profile Productions. The organisers therefore reserve the right to make any necessary amendments to the programme or timings of the event. 4. Cancellations will only be accepted until Monday 27th April 2026. They must be submitted by email to abs@profileproductions.co.uk and refunds will be subject to a 10% cancellation charge of the total booking. After Monday 27th April it is not possible to cancel your place, but substitutions can be made in writing until Thursday 4th June 2026. After that point no alterations can be made to your booking. Please notify us at abs@profileproductions.co.uk. 5. Medical students are not eligible to register for the conference. However, individuals who are currently medical students may register if they will have commenced Foundation Year 1 (FY1) by the start date of the conference. Proof of Foundation Year 1 status (or confirmed appointment) may be requested by the organisers. The conference organisers reserve the right to review and cancel any registration that does not meet the eligibility criteria. In such cases, any refund will be issued in accordance with the conference cancellation policy. 6. If registering as a commercial delegate you will agree not to actively promote you organisation or products to anyone attending the ABS Conference 2026. 7. In the event of the Association of Breast Surgery being unable to hold the conference for reasons beyond their control, including public health warnings, community restrictions or epidemics, we will notify you as soon as possible the alternative arrangements we have made. You will be given a fixed period to cancel your registration. Otherwise, your registration will be automatically transferred. 8. Attendance fees will not be refunded in the event of threat of war or terrorism. 9. All registrations and refunds will be processed by Profile Productions on behalf of the ABS. There will be photography and/or video production taking place during the conference and the resulting images may be used for promotional purposes on-line and/or in printed materials. Delegates who do not wish their images to be included in this material should contact the organisers by email at abs@profileproductions.co.uk prior to the event. 11. GDPR: Profile Productions Ltd, the organiser of this conference, complies with the General Data Protection regulations of 2018. On the lawful basis of having received your consent, as indicated by your ticking the box/es, the company will hold the personal data, on behalf of The Association of Breast Surgery, and said personal data shall be kept for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which it is being processed. 12. You agree that the Association of Breast Surgery or the conference organisers, Profile Productions may contact you by email or text message with information regarding your attendance at the conference. 13. Exhibitors may scan your badge in the exhibition and by having your badge scanned, you agree to share your name, place of work and email with that company. The company may then use this information to contact you after the event or for other purposes that you agree with them. The exhibitor will then store your data in line with their own GDPR policy.
